  • Our program aims to have a needs-based approach for families that need childcare coverage. We also need to be mindful about our staff to student ratio on Fridays as well, and we want to make sure that we uphold the quality care that we are known for.

Because of this, we will not be releasing our Friday program schedule publicly. We will have a mix of field trips, special performances, Service Stars and theme days.

  • Please alert Program Director, Lauren Bagley, (Lauren@kidscornerwincheser.org) before 12pm Monday-Thursday and by 11am on Fridays if you have a pick up change for your child.

  • If your child will be absent, please notify Lauren (Lauren@kidscornerwinchester.org) by 1pm on Monday-Thursday and by 11am on Fridays.

  • The "late bus" will leave at 4:45pm Monday-Thursday and 3:30pm on Fridays.

  • Daily afternoon snacks are provided by the program. During early release days on Fridays, students can bring lunch packed from home.

All snacks are peanut/tree nut free and we will accommodate other allergies as needed.

  • Our After School Program at the Carroll School currently does not offer full day programming on non-school days. All after school members will have the option to enroll in full day programming at our Winchester location.

  • At Kids’ Corner, we use an integrated curriculum approach. Learning is organized around monthly themes. We’ve had themes such as Outer Space, Community, Nature, Food & Art . Learning activities are developed that tie back to these themes and concepts in engaging and creative ways. Our teachers thoughtfully connect STEAM concepts to our integrated curriculum through projects, class meetings, Big Group Science and Big Group Art.

In addition to our awesome integrated curriculum, we have a lot of wonderful monthly events and activities. Special monthly activities include field trips, in-house presentations, music and film making, cooking, community service projects, and program-wide theme days.

  • There are additional After School Programs offered for the Middle and Upper School. Please reach out to Faith Blake (fblake@carrollschool.org ) if you have any questions.

We do offer occasional Friday Drop-In Programming for Middle/Upper school students at our Lower Campus. See our offerings here. Space is limited!
